BragJack Attack Can Turn a Browser's Agentic AI Against It

A newly identified attack method can compromise a browser's built-in AI assistant, allowing unauthorized access to sensitive information and enabling malicious actions and data exfiltration. This type of attack exploits the AI capabilities integrated into certain browsers, turning them against the user. The attack can execute various malicious actions and steal sensitive data. The AI assistant, intended to aid users, is instead hijacked to facilitate these harmful activities.
