The unauthorized access occurred in March 2026 and was discovered on June 30, 2026. Courts in 11 US states, the US Virgin Islands, and Ontario, Canada, were affected by the breach. Some court records may contain individuals' names, and there is a potential risk that social security numbers and sealed data may have been exposed. The breach involved the theft of files from the platform sold by West Publishing Corporation.
