Show HN: Security Cards – Reducing insecure AI-generated code by 72%

A new tool called Security Cards has been open-sourced to help reduce the generation of insecure code by AI coding agents. Security Cards provide targeted security guidance for over 80 widely used libraries across 13 programming languages. An evaluation has shown that Security Cards can reduce the rate of insecure code generation by up to 72.3%. The Security Cards are available on GitHub and the Reware Labs website. The developers plan to continue supporting more languages and libraries, and are seeking feedback from users.
