SASE Has An AI Blind Spot. Inspecting Packets Is No Longer Enough.

The traditional method of inspecting packets is no longer sufficient for securing enterprise workflows. This is because work has shifted to the browser and now involves AI, which has changed the security landscape. Enterprise workflows now span multiple SaaS applications, browsers, and various AI tools, as well as unsanctioned browser extensions and autonomous agents. As a result, the existing inspection model is struggling to keep up with these changes. Employees are also introducing potential security risks by pasting sensitive information into various applications and tools. This has created a blind spot in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architectures.
