OpenSSL Silently Fixes ‘HollowByte’ DoS Vulnerability

OpenSSL has fixed a vulnerability known as HollowByte, which allowed attackers to launch a denial-of-service attack. The vulnerability was exploited by sending malicious payloads that triggered buffer pre-allocations, leading to server memory exhaustion because the allocated memory was not freed.
