On Flock License Plate Tracking Cameras

A writer was mistakenly identified, tracked, and arrested due to incorrect data from Flock license plate tracking cameras. The issue arose from a partial plate entry in Flock's system, which only recorded the five main characters of the license plate, omitting a smaller number. This incomplete entry led to incorrect tracking of a Range Rover. Flock's AI technology failed to account for the non-standard smaller number on the license plate. The mistake was caused by a discrepancy between the actual plate number and the one entered into the police report and Flock's system. The error resulted in the writer being wrongly targeted.
