NAIC says public data stolen in ShinyHunters' PeopleSoft breach

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners reports that the ShinyHunters extortion group breached its systems, exploiting a previously unknown vulnerability in an Oracle PeopleSoft server. The stolen data consisted of publicly available information, outdated logs, and configuration files.
