Microsoft Plugs Nearly 1,000 Security Holes

Microsoft has released updates to fix a large number of security vulnerabilities, with at least 974 holes patched in its Windows operating systems and other software. This is the biggest single patch batch the company has ever issued. The use of artificial intelligence is aiding in the discovery of vulnerabilities, leading to a higher volume of patches. However, security experts are concerned that many organizations are already having trouble keeping up with the task of testing and deploying the numerous fixes released each month. The sheer volume of patches is creating a challenge for organizations to prioritize and implement them in a timely manner.
