Gyazo Breach Exposes 23.62 Million User Records and 490 Million Image Metadata Records

A security breach at Gyazo, an image-sharing service, has exposed approximately 23.62 million user records, which include email addresses and password hashes. The breach also compromised around 490 million image metadata records, primarily for images uploaded before January 2019. These metadata records contain IDs used in Gyazo image links. The breach was disclosed by Gyazo's parent company, Helpfeel, in a recent notice. The exposed user records and image metadata pose a significant data leak. Helpfeel is based in Kyoto and operates the Gyazo image-sharing service.
