Google Dismantles XCPE Botnet of 1.3 Million Android Devices

Google has taken down a botnet known as XCPE, which consisted of approximately 1.3 million Android devices. The botnet was reportedly created and operated by Videostrong Technology, an Android original equipment manufacturer/original design manufacturer, for the purpose of generating financial gain.
