Finland to disconnect fiber-optic link to Russia as lease expires

Finland is set to disconnect a fiber-optic link to Russia as the lease for the connection is expiring. This move follows Finland's earlier decision to stop power transmissions with Russia at the start of the war in Ukraine. Additionally, two related telecom connections between the countries will also be terminated by the end of the year, according to authorities.
