The president has met with a potential nominee to lead the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, according to Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin. A new CISA director has not been officially announced by the White House. Once a director is in place, CISA plans to increase its hiring efforts. The agency intends to hire 600 new staff members as part of this effort.
