China-Linked Hackers Exploit PHP2Shell to Root Firewalls

China-linked hackers have exploited PHP2Shell to gain root access to firewalls. They used a combination of PHP2Shell and Fragnesia exploits to breach two servers belonging to a US government-affiliated organization. The attackers were able to successfully hack into these servers using this exploit chain. The targeted organization is affiliated with the US government. The breach was accomplished through the combination of the two exploits.
