Aurora Ransomware Operators Use Cursor AI in Attacks Against 10 Targets

Aurora ransomware operators have been found to be utilizing Cursor, an AI-powered coding assistant developed by SpaceX, to gain access to target networks. This discovery was made by CloudSEK and Gambit Security through their analysis of exposed infrastructure linked to the Russian-speaking cybercrime group. The group has targeted at least 10 entities in these attacks. The use of Cursor AI in these attacks is a notable aspect of the group's tactics.
