Palo Alto Networks' Unit 42 analyzed a set of malware samples linked to artificial intelligence, totaling 405 samples. The analysis found that only a small fraction of these samples, 12 in total, were successful in reaching production endpoints. This suggests that while AI may accelerate the development of malware, it does not necessarily increase its success rate. The majority of the analyzed samples did not reach production endpoints, indicating that AI-driven malware development has limitations in terms of effectiveness.
