CVE-2026-56743Cilium is a networking, observability, and security solution. From 1.19.0 to 1.19.4, standard Kubernetes NetworkPolicy specifications using CIDR-based ipBlock rules without pod or namespace selectors erroneously generate a wildcard namespace allow rule when Cilium is configured with a custom clusterName rather than the default any value. The parser incorrectly instantiates a pod selector on selectorless peer definitions, allowing traffic from other workloads in the same namespace as the subject of the policy. This issue is fixed in version 1.19.5.

This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.12, 3.3.10, and 3.4.2.

Prior to 25.12.5, the cgi-download handler in cgi-io authorizes the requested path against the caller's ubus session file ACL before canonicalization, and rpcd session.c uses fnmatch() without FNM_PATHNAME, allowing traversal such as an allowed wildcard prefix followed by ../ to read root-readable files including /etc/shadow. This vulnerability is fixed in 25.12.5.
