Description

Vitec Flamingo 4.12.2 contains an unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability in the admin/ajax/ping.php endpoint that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands by exploiting a double-evaluation flaw in shell argument handling. The endpoint applies escapeshellarg() to the user-supplied host POST parameter before passing it to a system wrapper, but the wrapper retrieves the decoded value from argv and incorporates it into a second shell_exec() call without escaping, allowing injected commands to execute with root privileges via passwordless sudo.

ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to version 7.4.0, an authenticated administrator can achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) on the server by installing a malicious plugin ZIP archive containing a PHP webshell. The application explicitly includes 'php' in its ALLOWED_EXTENSIONS list, while the dangerous extensions denylist (DENIED_EXTENSIONS) fails to block standard .php files. Because `php` is explicitly included in the allowed extension list for plugin archives, and extracted files are placed directly under the web root, any PHP file inside the ZIP becomes immediately executable via HTTP — without even needing to "enable" the plugin through the application UI. The /plugins/install-url API route (management.php) allows an administrator to source the malicious ZIP from any attacker-controlled HTTPS URL, validating it only against an attacker-supplied SHA-256 hash. This issue has been fixed in version 7.4.0.

Rejetto HFS 3.0.0 through 3.2.0 derives its session-cookie signing key from the non-cryptographic Math.random() generator and discloses outputs of the same generator to unauthenticated clients during login. A remote attacker can collect a small number of login responses, reconstruct the generator's state, recover the signing key, and forge a valid administrator session cookie, leading to full administrative access and remote code execution via the server_code configuration feature.

Attackers can exploit the lack of input sanitization in the graph generation script, which passes user-supplied values directly to shell commands via passthru(), to execute arbitrary OS commands with root privileges due to the web server context having passwordless sudo access.
