CVE-2026-73322Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in the single-stage query engine of Apache Pinot.
When broker access control is enabled, the single-stage query engine authorizes only the table named in the query's FROM clause. The lookup() transform function identifies its dimension table with a string literal argument rather than through the FROM clause, so that table was never included in the authorization check. An authenticated user who is authorized for at least one table can therefore read columns from any dimension table in the cluster, including tables they have no access to, and can retrieve arbitrary rows of it by supplying primary key values directly. Per-principal row-level security filters configured on the dimension table are likewise not applied.
The multi-stage query engine is not affected.
This issue affects Apache Pinot: through 1.5.1
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.6.0, which fixes this issue.

CVE-2026-62298mouse07410/asn1c is an ASN.1 compiler. Prior to 1.2.5, `OPEN TYPE` decoding can dereference an unallocated member pointer and crash the consuming program. `OPEN_TYPE_aper_get` in `OPEN_TYPE_aper.c`, `OPEN_TYPE_ber_get` in `OPEN_TYPE_ber.c`, `OPEN_TYPE_oer_get` in `OPEN_TYPE_oer.c`, and `OPEN_TYPE_uper_get` in `OPEN_TYPE_uper.c` share the pattern: a conditional null check on `*memb_ptr2` resets presence only when the member exists, but execution then unconditionally computes an inner value from that pointer and a member offset. If the `OPEN TYPE` member has not been allocated, the null-pointer arithmetic and subsequent read cause a segmentation fault. The advisory demonstrates UPER and APER crashes for `E2connectionUpdateAcknowledge`, notes that `E2AP` uses APER, and provides a BER reproducer; OER is also explicitly identified as affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.2.5.

CVE-2026-62162Hydra is a layer-two scalability solution for Cardano. Prior to 2.1.0, the `Claim` branch in `hydra-plutus/validators/deposit.ak` checks only that `datum.head_id` matches the attacker-controlled `redeemer.currencySymbol` and that the transaction is valid before the deposit deadline. It neither requires spending the Head state-token UTxO in the same transaction nor constrains outputs. After a deposit made through `POST /commit` is confirmed, any third party able to build a Cardano transaction can observe and consume the pending deposit UTxO before its deadline and redirect the assets to an arbitrary address. A standalone deposit spend invokes no Head validator, bypassing its safety checks; historical head-ID binding and the Aiken rewrite retained this missing invariant. The default deadline is three times depositPeriod, so the described attack applies to pending deposits before that deadline. This issue is fixed in version 2.1.0.
